As a multimedia/web specialist, you can find challenging careers in areas such as advertising, marketing, education and entertainment. Positions can range from web page designers and electronic catalogue developers to testing and training creators or flash animators. You can use a broad range of skills including content management and creation, interactive design and dynamic programming. You can also take the opportunity to start your own business in the multimedia field.
This program prepares you to design layouts and interactivity for screen use including internet, CD/DVD, and kiosk delivery. You will develop skills and knowledge in industry standard computer software to produce a wide range of multimedia content including audio, video and animation.
Nature of Work
This program prepares you for a variety of multimedia opportunities ranging from multimedia production and graphic animation for web to designing of navigation and user interface. Work in the industry makes extensive use of the computer with graphic, animation and multimedia software.
Program Delivery
You can begin this program fall or spring semester. A day and evening program are offered. Full- or part-time starts are available.
